Uttarakhand ke Transport Department ne Scheduled Caste (SC) aur Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities ke liye ek prashansaniya initiative shuru kiya hai, “Free Training for Vehicle Drivers” scheme.
Is scheme ka main objective hai driving skills enhance karna, road safety badhana, aur self-employment opportunities create karna, khaas taur par SC/ST candidates ke liye.
Yeh training program Institute of Driving and Traffic Research (IDTR), Dehradun ke through conduct kiya jaata hai.

- Applicant Scheduled Caste ya Scheduled Tribe category se belong karta ho.
- Applicant Uttarakhand ka resident ho.
- Applicant ke paas valid driving license ho (light ya heavy vehicle ke liye).
For Light Motor Vehicle (Commercial Course):
- Applicant ke paas non-transport light vehicle license ho jo kam se kam 1 saal purana ho.
- For Heavy Motor Vehicle (Commercial Course):
- Applicant ke paas light motor vehicle (transport) license ho jo 1 saal purana ho.
For Refresher Courses:
- Applicant ke paas valid driving license ho (light ya heavy motor vehicle ke liye).
Application Process, Simple aur Straightforward
Yeh process offline mode mein hota hai. Interested candidates IDTR, Dehradun mein directly apply kar sakte hain.
Step 1:
Applicant IDTR office visit karein (office hours ke dauran) aur prescribed application form lein.
Step 2:
Form bhar kar saare mandatory documents attach karein (self-attested if required).
Step 3:
Filled form ko IDTR office mein submit karein.

- Admission first-come, first-served basis par hota hai.
